As Head of Advertising Sales Product Strategy and Development, Keith Kazerman is responsible for developing and executing Discovery Communications’ strategy for data and advanced advertising products across all U.S. platforms. He oversees Discovery Engage, a new group within advertising sales that delivers a portfolio of innovative data products for clients to enhance the effectiveness and accountability of their advertising. He also leads the development of digital and linear sales automation systems and strategies.
Previously, Kazerman served as the Senior Vice President of National Advertising Sales for DIRECTV, Inc, the nation’s number one satellite television service. In this role, he was responsible for national ad sales, direct response sales, traffic and operations, pricing and inventory, as well as product management.
During his 10 years at DIRECTV, Kazerman and his team oversaw ground breaking interactive sports sponsorships with NFL Sunday Ticket, and the introduction of digital ad offerings with DIRECTV Everywhere. The team was instrumental in helping the company to lead the industry with the largest national addressable ad platform.
Prior to joining DIRECTV in 2005, Kazerman held management positions with various media companies including TN Media, Bates, Space.com, The Hallmark Channel and Marathon Ventures.
Kazerman is a graduate of the Lehigh University School of Business and Economics and is a member of the Invidi Advisory Board. He resides with his wife and son in Jericho, NY.
