Barak Hermesh is a member of the strategy and technology office of the Connected Home Division at Intel, with responsibility for future networking technologies planning. Barak has more than 16 years of experience in R&D, leadership, system architecture and strategic planning in the telecommunication industry. Over the course of his career he worked with Microsoft, Texas Instruments and Intel on a wide variety of technical aspects of telecommunication products with focus on cable and home networking technologies. His current work focuses on virtualization of the home and access networks.
Barak holds a MSc. degree in Computer Science from the Israel Institute of Technology at Haifa, Israel.
