Andrew Borak is Vice President of Marketing in the Content Distribution division at Viacom Media Networks. In this role, Mr. Borak is responsible for developing integrated marketing programs to drive awareness and brand value for the VMN portfolio of brands (including MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, BET, Vh1, CMT, Spike, TV Land, etc) as well as the next generation premium network, EPIX.
Mr. Borak and his team collaborate with all traditional and new media distribution partners (including AT&T/DirecTV, Verizon, Comcast, Dish, Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, Sony, etc.) to help drive the partners’ business priorities while simultaneously marketing VMN brands’ key series and franchises, as well as signature events. Mr. Borak also serves as the TV Everywhere marketing lead across all VMN brands.
Prior to joining Viacom in 2006, Mr. Borak was the Director of Marketing and Corporate Development at The Rail Network, the first digital out-of-home television and radio network for mass transit subway and rail systems. In addition to helping to found the company and positioning it for acquisition by CBS Outdoor Corporation, Mr. Borak was responsible for all day-to-day marketing and communications efforts targeting advertisers, transit authorities, and commuters.
Mr. Borak earned an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from NYU’s Stern School of Business and a BA in Communications from the University of Michigan.
